my routine was search for similar function, read/understand a piece of code. copy/paste block. modify for my context. test, move on hardly ever wrote anything from scratch because it just took longer. ai seems like an unmodified copy/paste that doesn't quite work. like generated art for non--artists, sucks. generated code for non-coders also sucks.
