I mean the price of apple oses is kinda included with the hardware, not like you can get it any other way anyways. If you want to argue hackingtosh, it's called that for a reason besides from it being impossible at the moment on the last update.

I don't think any of their oses have ads as bad as the windows ones tho, maybe in some built in apps but windows didn't even put it in an app just directly there lol.

You can download copies of it from Apple‘s website. You can even sign up for the developer program for free and download copies of beta versions of their operating systems, as well.

You pay for the hardware. The operating system is free. However Apple does their internal accounting is their business. But you can download copies of it without paying.

And hackacintoshes are called that because you installed the operating system on hardware other than apples. But you don’t have to pay to get a copy of macOS.
