The implication is that it tanked after the first season. The Christmas episode actually upset me.

Interesting that’s how that episode affected you. I found it uplifting, but of course you’re entitled to a different opinion. Do you mind if I ask what upset you?

It was a fair while ago so I don't remember exactly but it was exceptionally cheesy and added actual Santa Claus to a reality based comedy.

The show overall skates pretty closely to cheesy at all times, and if that’s not your thing, I’d agree the show’s probably not for you.

Being that the Santa Claus thing was only seen by a child, I think it’s the expression of Christmas magic more than reality.
