That's the problem. The gop is always in control whether they have a majority or not.
Democratic party with a supermajority: can barely pass a conservative health insurance reform bill with zero repub votes after bargaining themselves out of any actual good parts.
GOP with a one vote majority: mandate of the people; they get everything they want and there's nothing the dems can do to stop it.
Again, I understand that they're controlled opposition, but the "wHy doNt dEms dO sOmeThIng" is just useless hot air when they aren't in a position to do anything.
They are in the same position the GOP was when they shut down any progress the democrats pretended to try to do when they had the majority.
