Sometimes the rich people just talk to themselves, like when the economy was tanking and the advice was to maybe just cut your personal massages down to once-a-month.

Edit: Or the advice to, you know, just start a yoga studio, because you have the money to rent a place and know a bunch of rich people that want to be your students. In fact, "Rich people are immediately comfortable with you" is such a key assumed component for a lot of business advice it drives me crazy.
