Sure, fine by me. Let's name it Lake Pedohidingtheepstienfiles.
I don’t want to insult the lake and our First Nations people like that
Ontario comes from Huron meaning “Great Lake”, and it is a great lake. It’s also a fitting name for our beautiful lake filled province.
To change the name (over ego) would be an insult to our history, it would be pointless colonialism, and it would worsen our great country and province.
Did not know that thanks for letting for filling a gap in my knowledge.
Canada should rename it first in honor of Trump: lake Inferior.
Is he tryting to rename it to "Lake America" because he drowned a kid in it? Maybe he did the same in the Gulf of Mexico? And now, when you take him to court, he can say, "Nuh-uh, that __ doesn't exist therefore I'm innocent?"
