Aisha Gaddafi, the daughter of the slain Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, has addressed the people of Iran.
"Negotiations with wolves do not lead to the salvation of the herd - they merely set the date for the next hunt," she stated. According to her, the West assured her father that if he gave up on nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, the world would open its doors to him. "He believed it, made concessions... And NATO's bombs turned Libya into ruins". She urged Iranians not to make concessions to the enemy, as they do not lead to peace, but only to destruction

I'm genuinely impressed by the way they're playing their cards.
The inherent disadvantage of ballistic missiles is that the cost of delivering a particular explosive payload to a given location is quite high. The advantage, is being able to strike at great range at short notice and being able to hit the enemy without them being able to easily defend the entire threatened area and without exposing your forces to easy counterattack.
So the IRGC is playing a careful game of demonstration and pressure. They demonstrate they can hit their targets, show that defensive systems are ineffective, deplete their magazines and remove their early detection capabilities. Now the US-Israel complex can't predict when and where they will be hit, and recognize that anything can be destroyed at any time. Suddenly, by applying 20-30 missiles and a relative handful of drones per day, striking randomly without giving respite, announcing target lists (as above), picking and choosing the most vulnerable, cost-effective targets, Iran is able to completely paralyze the economies and normal life of essentially all of their enemies across West Asia while also degrading their military capabilities.
I'm convinced that we're witnessing a major evolution in the future of warfare centered on drones and ballistic missiles across Ukraine and the Iran war and the IRGC is currently defining military history in a way that will be studied for a long time to come.
It's very impressive, and it's so satisfying to see the imperialists cowering for once!

https://www.newsweek.com/stryker-cyberattack-iran-handala-11664292
Iranian linked hacker Handala remotely wipes hundreds of thousands of devices linked to US medical tech company Stryker. Also claims to have stolen vast swathes of data. With 25 billion dollars in revenue last year and 56k employees stationed around the globe this is a big hit at an absolute giant.
Let's hope no more of these horrible deeds persist. I'm sure it won't alarm anybody in the market the apparent ease at which an Iranian hacker was able to remotely completely destroy a Fortune 500 companies working systems.
Now is the question to ask, what does Iran expect out of this. At this point, I believe they are looking for nothing short of complete US withdrawal from the Gulf.
It is also possible that they will start charging for passage through the Strait of Hormuz after this - it's currently free to navigate.
Regardless, the most telling sign is that they are explicitly saying they are refusing to negotiate. At this moment, Iran is setting the pace and the US can only follow.
It's a risky move normally, but Iran is protected by the Zagros mountains to the west, and their rocketry tech against incursions. They may or may not have started to mine the Strait, it's not clear yet, but I saw a video of how they do it: it's just more missiles.
An invasion + subsequent occupation of Iran would require something like 1 million boots on the ground at the very least. We are looking at a nation that is a peer or near-peer adversary, not a paramilitary group. On top of which, the population is now even more united behind the islamic revolution. Completely unfathomable to send that many troops even with a draft, and that's just for a blitz-type occupation (go in, decapitate government, install puppet like Iraq). Iran controls its territory and the population would be hostile to soldiers at every turn. A more realistic number is 2 million soldiers on the ground to more fully occupy the territory. If they can even get through the Zagros Mountains or navigate the Strait.
What Iran is lacking is a navy and air force but their rocketry more than makes up for it. We saw the refueling airplane that was taken down over Iraq.
Likewise both the Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln, the two biggest aircraft carriers, turned tail and ran as soon as IRGC missiles showed up on their radar. They report no damage but it doesn't even matter - a salvo of four missiles, likely to test response, managed to get them to fuck off and out of range.
The Brent futures index is essentially a piece of paper that says "you have a proof of purchase for crude oil at this price". You don't actually get it delivered (that would be very difficult), it's a future. Unless you don't sell for a while, then yes they will deliver. This is how the Brent briefly went under 0$ during the COVID lockdowns: without buyers, people were going to get the oil delivered which is a very bad idea, and they needed to offload it any way they could.
The highest the index has been, adjusted for inflation, was in 1980 at 157$ per barrel. In the US, inflation reached 13.5% in 1980. The shock was caused by the Islamic Revolution and the subsequent Iraqi invasion. US unemployment peaked at 10.8% in 1982. The central bank sharply raised interest rates - the modern mechanism to control inflation - higher central interest rates = banks raise their interest rates as well = people and businesses borrow less = banks generate less new money (yes that's really how new money is created nowadays). But it also means fewer investments, fewer job creations (that was a thing that still happened in the 80s), etc. People were barred from driving on certain days or for non-essential reasons.
It was bad, basically. The US Bourgeoisie would indeed be fools to want another oil crisis... except fossil fuel majors and banks, of course, who made a lot of money on the crisis in the past. But everyone else would rather the barrel go back down to a more reasonable price.
As things continue, expect the oil barrel to jump up to 150$, maybe even more. It is at around 100$ currently, spurred by empty promises from Trump to try and contain it. He said US ships would start escorting tankers through the Strait, then the Navy said "what are you talking about we literally can't do that". Doesn't matter, price went down briefly. You can follow the price here: https://www.investing.com/commodities/brent-oil (pick the 1D graph). The markets are closed on the weekend so we'll have to see what it opens at on Monday.
But it's only been ~~a decade~~ two weeks, give it more time. Expect Iran to make more announcements over time - they probably have them all planned out already on a schedule. Recently, they said that any country that kicks out US bases and embassies would be allowed to cross the Strait again. Their tactics are rocketry and taking out intel capabilities, but the strategy seems to be to try and cause an oil crisis. At that stage, other countries will jump in and likely tell the US to just cut their losses and abandon the Gulf.
Iran is continuing to strike at "Israel", though with the media censorship in the entity you wouldn't necessarily know it, but it is unclear to me what exactly they are trying to achieve there. Complete post:
spoiler
Successive waves of missiles and drones forced US troops to abandon their bases and scramble for shelter in luxury hotels, which, ironically, quickly became targets themselves.
It has now been 12 straight days of continuous bombardment, with multiple waves every single day and no sign of fatigue.
The strikes are not limited to the bases: they are hammering roads, airports, ports, hotels, and power plants.
Evacuation orders exist on paper, but they are being carried out at a snail’s pace, because security is nonexistent and far too many troops are still trapped under fire.
Almost no one remains at the American bases anymore. Even the refueling aircraft that operated out of Saudi Arabia have been pulled out and relocated to Germany.
The message to the Gulf countries is crystal clear: the US cannot even protect its own bases. You’re on your own.
The sense of invincibility that lasted for decades has been shattered.
Critical radars destroyed, interceptors running on fumes, bases bombed, Iranian missiles still launching, the Strait of Hormuz still closed, and Gulf allies left completely exposed.
All of this is being watched in real time by Asian countries that, until yesterday, were betting everything on American power to contain China.
The red light is flashing bright.
If the US couldn’t defend the Gulf against Iran… what real chance do they have of protecting anyone against Beijing?
Up until February 28, American protection felt absolute. Today it feels like something else entirely.
The collapse of that decades-long myth of absolute security is the deepest and most lasting indirect effect of this war.

Why the US's technology-driven war strategy no longer works
❓The question "who is more technologically advanced" in the war against Iran may seem simple at first glance, but in reality, it's much more complex.
Brief teaser:
🇺🇸 Formally, the technological superiority still lies with the US and its allies. They have incomparably better developed aviation, satellite reconnaissance (and real-time reconnaissance in general), battle management systems, high-precision munitions, and global logistics, without which it would have been impossible to amass such a large number of troops in a short time. This was the basis of the American model of warfare since the "Desert Storm" operation in 1991 and subsequent campaigns like the strikes on Yugoslavia in 1999 and the invasion of Iraq.
However, the technological nature of war today is increasingly determined not by who has more expensive equipment, but by whose combat model is better adapted to modern conditions. And here comes the Iranian peculiarity.
spoiler
The American model of war in 2025–2026, including the short "12-day war" in June 2025 waged by Israel (in the American style), essentially remained the same: the emphasis was on high-precision strikes, aviation, long-range missiles, and dense fire assaults (as well as the ability to ensure this density). This system works well against states that are not capable of responding symmetrically. But when the opponent builds his strategy on mass cheap systems and is good at industry, the picture changes radically.
In recent years, Iran has consistently applied the model of distributed warfare and, after the start of "Epic Rage", has taken it to a new level. As a result, a paradoxical situation arose in which the infrastructure of the US and its allies in the Persian Gulf was not fully prepared for such a level of saturation.
In fact, for the first time in recent history, the US faced an opponent who was able to pose a threat to three key components of American power at once: aviation (through saturation of air defense, although this is a debatable issue), the fleet (including commercial ones through anti-ship missiles, drones, etc.), and most of all, ground infrastructure and bases.
An additional factor was that the attacks also affected the civilian infrastructure of US allies. According to reports, targets such as desalination plants in Bahrain, port infrastructure in the UAE, airports, and elements of the regional air defense/missile defense system were subjected to attacks. This led to disruptions in air traffic and significant tension in the entire security system of the region.
The US still has a huge superiority in heavy strike systems: strategic aviation, cruise missiles, aircraft carrier groups, high-precision strike systems. But gradually, there is a doubt about how effectively these systems work against an opponent who does not concentrate forces and does not play by the classic rules of war.
In a sense, the attack on Iran is a conflict of two different technological philosophies: the US, where expensive, complex, high-precision systems are used, designed to control the air and the battlefield. And their opponent, Iran - where mass, cheap, distributed systems are used, designed to overload air defense and wear out the opponent, which the Iranians are able to reach within 5,000 km.
In the end, it turns out that sometimes it's not the one with the most complex and numerous technology who wins in war, but the one who has managed to use simpler combat methods correctly.

The US burned through years worth of munitions in just a few days of its war of aggression against Iran.
The Pentagon admitted that the war cost more than $11,000,000,000 ($11 billion) in the first 6 days of attacks. The costs were overwhelmingly for munitions, produced by for-profit corporations in the military-industrial complex.
The US is rapidly running out of long-range missiles, while the US proxy regimes in Israel and the Gulf dictatorships are quickly depleting their air defense interceptor missiles.
Tomahawk missiles are made by Raytheon and cost $3.6 million each. The US military has bought 322 in the past 5 years, including 57 planned for 2026.
The US used 168 Tomahawks in the first 100 hours of the war of aggression that it started against Iran on February 28. That was more than half of what it had bought in the previous 5 years.

The US has confirmed that Iran has installed naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz. According to The Wall Street Journal, on Wednesday, US officials stated that approximately ten mines were installed in the narrow waterway, through which about 20% of the world's oil exports pass.
Iran has naval mines in its arsenal that can operate at very shallow depths - floating just 90 centimeters underwater, anchoring themselves on the seabed at depths of up to 50 meters, and detonating upon contact with a passing ship. The power of the warhead of most of them ranges from 50 to 120 kg of explosives.
As a rule, such mines are installed with the help of divers on small boats, often disguised as fishing vessels, which makes operations to detect and destroy them extremely difficult.
The main goal here is not so much to sink ships as to disrupt global shipping after a couple of destroyed tankers or gas carriers. Even the mere threat of mines can already stop the movement of tankers through the strait.
Historically, naval mines have caused more damage to US Navy ships than any other weapon since the Second World War. This is their paradox: one of the cheapest means of armament can cause some of the most costly consequences for global trade and military logistics.

The interception rate of Iranian missiles by the American Patriot air defense system is "SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN 4–5%".
Professor Theodore A. Postol claims that the public is being deceived about the real figures.
For those who don't particularly follow modern conflicts, Postol is a "myth buster" from the world of the military-industrial complex. He became famous for methodically questioning official Pentagon and intelligence reports. For a while, he worked as a scientific consultant to the US Chief of Naval Operations and in the Congressional Technology Assessment Office and knows something about the "inner workings" of strikes.
In particular, he argues that the Patriot air defense radar often mistakenly takes the body of a separated booster stage of a missile for the warhead itself.
How does this work?
The Patriot anti-missile hits the "empty" part of the missile. In the computer logs, this is recorded as an "interception" (the radar sees a collision), but in reality, the warhead continues to fall by inertia and explodes on the ground. Postol calls this a "successful miss".
Postol also believes that new Iranian missiles eject light inflatable simulators with a metallized coating along with the warhead.
For the Patriot radar, these balls look exactly like a warhead. During a salvo of 10 missiles, the system sees 50 targets. Even if the Patriot shoots down 40 of them, these could be 40 dummies, while all 10 real warheads will reach their target.
