That posture is a sign of dementia. Specifically fronto temporal dementia.

Shocking Relationship Discovered Between Posture and Cognitive Decline

Fuck.

[–] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Correlation is not causation. The two are related, but one does not cause the other.

[–] m4xie@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 weeks ago

Old age, not helped by lack of exercise and a terrible diet.

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

There's also a good indepth analysis of his dementia by this psychologist. https://youtu.be/l_IWsfLb2xA

Pretty sure it’s the lifts in his shoes. He’s worn them for years because he can’t bear to be under a certain height. They tip him slightly forwards. That plus the corset.

It’s really weird, but not one of the many signs of dementia he shows, just vanity.

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Nah. High heels don't do that. If anything it causes you to lean back to offset the slope.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah I think he thinks it hides the diaper.

Annie are you ok, are you ok, are you ok, Annie?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Nah. The criminal wasn't that smooth, so Annie is dead now.

Let this be a lesson: never neglect to sand your ne'er do wells!

There's always ever been one apt comparison:

He looks like that front half of a centaur costume.

crassThe front half. Which has no dick.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 15 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The front half. Which has no dick.

FYI: There is plenty of 'taur art where they have two dicks. 😌

It can be art and be crap at the same time!

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

Absolutely. I went to art school so I can speak with authority, bad art is still art.

[–] starik@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago

There’s no accounting for taste

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 32 points 2 weeks ago

It's the girdle. A few people have talked about it and the lifts in his shoes. The guy is a walking falsehood.

[–] starik@lemmy.zip 27 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Lifts. He’s wearing high heels.

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 25 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

There's also a type of dementia, prefrontal temporal dementia. People who have it tend to stand like that. That sort of ass back, chest forward stance.

The Mayo Clinic

Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is an umbrella term for a group of brain diseases that mainly affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These areas of the brain are associated with personality, behavior and language.

In frontotemporal dementia, parts of these lobes shrink, known as atrophy. Symptoms depend on which part of the brain is affected. Some people with frontotemporal dementia have changes in their personalities. They become socially inappropriate and may be impulsive or emotionally indifferent. Others lose the ability to properly use language.

As a note here, this dementia category does not usually strongly impact memory until the disease is much more advanced.

A type of dementia, but Trump's father died before we were really nailing down the exact types.

Hell, we still don't often nail down the exact type of dementia, mostly because everyone who suffers from it is slightly different. That's why we use umbrella terms for the area of the brain first affected, but eventually it's a moot distinction, because they all eventually lead to so much impairment that it's impossible to differentiate.

His posture should sloping back, or he would fall face forward in high heels.

[–] Fishnoodle@lemmy.world 24 points 2 weeks ago

He smelled some underage girls

[–] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 20 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I am so ready to make fun of Trump supporters for the rest of my life. Literally voted for a man in high heels. A literal drag queen πŸ˜‚

And wears makeup 24/7, and his VP is a pro at eyeliner application...

[–] YurkshireLad@lemmy.ca 15 points 2 weeks ago

Those people don’t see the irony of continuing to hold β€œMake America Great Again” signs. I think you’re going to need those signs for a while longer.

[–] Lucky_777@lemmy.world 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Gotta be under the pants stints or some shit

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

[–] thatradomguy@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He looks like he's holding in a shit.

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 10 points 2 weeks ago

Statistically unlikely, given that he usually doesn’t.

[–] crystalmerchant@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

No but actually how does he do this

[–] AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Special shoes that hook into the floor.

No, wait, that was Michael Jackson.

[–] mrmaplebar@fedia.io 7 points 2 weeks ago

Tbf they both have a lot in common

[–] sploder@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

He’s wearing lifts that go inside your shoes. He’s probably wearing taller heels than his wife most days lmfao

[–] mrmanager@lemmy.today 3 points 2 weeks ago

He is attached to a invisible string from the top, like a puppet.

[–] cravl@slrpnk.net 7 points 2 weeks ago
