Old Testament Christians vs New Testament Christians right here, folks.
The new testament is kind of the whole point of Christianity.
Right, it's where the whole Christ part comes from. These heretics should be flogged and cast out from society.

I wish there was more separation of church and state, but the bar is low for Texas. If we're going to have a religious politician, James sounds like the guy. If I lived in Texas he would have my vote. I saw him on Colbert, he really seems like a genuinely good dude.
I've honestly watched Talarico a lot in the past 2 years. James Talarico, at least behaves like a Christian in the public eye...not an evangelical Christian nationalist, but like an actual follower of Christ. He speaks against Christian nationalism, for separating church and state, and most of all, equal rights for everyone...no matter their color, race, religion, or sexual preference. He is, at least outwardly, what Christians are supposed to act like. I can't say as far as privately, as I've never met the man. However, he seems to actually follow Christ first and man last...just the opposite of the MAGA Klan.
He is also very much in favor of separation of church and state.

You're right! This guy says he's a Christian but he's only speaking out against the bastardization of his religion and campaigning for a political office in the hopes to change things.

I'm referring to Christianity as a whole. They allow these evil monsters to champion their religion. That makes them culpable. This man seems like a decent person himself, but he is the same religion as these monsters out here murdering and raping children and the rotten apples spoil the bunch.
