I got pissed with that site after it started punishing people for using VPNs. (I mean I kinda get why, but it still sucks) But that might be the issue for you as well, because it immediately started working when I turned mine off or switched servers, see if that helps.
It happens for me, both at home and at work, and on mobile data.
What you all doing that requires a VPN 24/7??

Sourcing linux ISOs is one thing. And I'd do it on one machine and not the whole network.
It is constantly blocking proxies, Tor nodes, and a bunch of IP ranges from various list files. It's actually up. I've been fooled into thinking it's down too. Given your email provider isn't blocked, you can mail admin at that domain and ask which list it is for you, in my case I was able to trace it all the way back to someone spamming a forum from the address.
One thing I learned pretty recently is that this "privacy" service actually has a privacy frontend for it: s/c/f (catbox.moe > fatbox.moe) (read only). Example: https://files.fatbox.moe/oiip40.webm
If both my home and uni IPs are blocked then the list is worthless.
If the owner could read he would be very upset!

I checked with the Tor Browser and lemmy.zip images load in lemmy.world, piefed.social and piefed.zip.
Edit: I checked this comment on the same three instances and various others and the image in this comment also loads just fine on all of them.
