Mozilla is officially rolling out integrated ad blocking in Firefox for iOS

Definitely like seeing a free solution.
I've been an iPhone user for 10 years, and a Mac user for 3. Firefox is basically garbage on iOS — it's just a wrapper for Safari. Make no mistake, 100% of the blame for that lies with Apple. We know.
I've paid for three ad blockers, and I've used a couple others. They all kinda do the same thing. DuckDuckGo is an interesting case because it can block ads in YouTube, as a native app (it's based on Firefox, but because it's an iOS web browser, it's just a wrapper for Safari). You can also do it with Wipr2, but that's $5 one-time (not a subscription). So that's two whole separate methods to block YouTube ads on an iPhone that isn't jailbroken. And, both work on Mac and iPad as well — though, worth noting, on the Mac, you can just use Firefox with uBlock Origin and that blocks everything, but Firefox on macOS isn't great, or even good. Crashes all the time, has a bunch of weird issues... you CAN use it, but I figure a lot of us just use Safari (or Google's).
It's a good move though, because Firefox has visibility and Google would never do it (advertising is their primary business).
