Not enough firebombs.
United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
Probably a rival car rental agency. It's a cutthroat business.
Eat the rich. (and set their cars on fire)
The people who were almost hit look like Arabs, based on their clothing. Everyone here is cheering the attack because of the cars parked outside but people were almost hit by molotovs. You're cool with the attack if it turns out to be racially motivated? Or because they were Muslim?
Indian wedding, likely racist attack.
Yeah, I was kind of wondering whether the firebombers were right-wing, and racially motivated, or left-wing, after wealthy people.
I will say one thing, that either way, any property damage probably is covered by insurance, so it gets paid for by slightly driving up British insurance premiums.
To be fair the motive could also be non-political like some kind of personal vendetta
Based
They are SUPER cars, and every knows supers are impervious to fire (see super man, super girl etc) So no need to get excited. Those ultra rich people are just being dramatic, just like when you spit in their soup. Just ignore them.
Unless they're Martian supercars and then it's a hate crime
You love to see it.
Its for the best.
I hope no one was hurt and that it's kind of a 'slashing-tires-of-huge-SUVs' sort of operation.
If anyone was hurt there's no way any news outlet would let such a juicy headline go past in favor of just reporting on the cars.
If it bleeds, it leads.
They are super cars not huge SUVs.
'sort of operation' I wrote, I'm aware that supercars aren't SUVs but they are yet another egregious, offensive wealth display like huge SUVs are. So ya know, eat the rich and all that jazz.
... Correct?
