So apparently this guy died back in 2023, that's on me.
Independent farmers and small farm collectives grow food for SNAP. That's why food stamps cannot be used on prepared food. It's a farm subsidy to feed the poor. So this check is to subsidize farmers while fucking over food insecure communities.
