Hi All!

I recently had the pleasure of playing Samurai Shodown 2 on cabinet and even though I got my ass beat and couldn’t get past stage 3 I had a great time. That said, the weird feel of the controls on the cabinet and general old fighting game stuff (few tutorials/no movelists) did kinda hinder the experience.

Because of this, I was considering picking up the 2019 version of the game, but I’m worried I won’t enjoy it as much. Is it substantially different from 2? Is the playerbase large/match system good (I’d rather not play a discord fighter)? Is it as neutral and positioning focused as I hear?

For reference, the character I played on the cabinet was Charlotte. My main game is Strive and I play Millia there.

Thanks for the help!
