Of course not. Dumb and annoying question.

What am I even looking at here? Are these earthworms? Do people have problems with big booty Latinas?

[–] Goretantath@lemmy.world 72 points 1 week ago (2 children)

There was a stupid trend of girlfriends and wives asking their boyfriends and husbands "Would you still love me if I was a worm?". Anyone that did not answer exactly "Of course not, you wouldn't be capable of worrying if I loved you if you were a worm." Was found out to be stupid.

Ok, that makes more sense. I’ve gotten the “would you still love me if I was fat or disfigured” before, but never an earthworm.

For me it totally makes sense because my boyfriend always says he looks like a worm without his hair. And now in his fourties he's really scared of loosing his hair. And I always tell him I will love him even when he looks like a worm. Perfect for the situation but might not apply to everyone.

Going bald is just giving yourself permission to wear insane wigs.

Not insane, but I thought it was relevant

It's also a great excuse just to shave off all your hair and realize it doesn't look nearly as bad as you thought it was going to. Plus it's SO much easier to take care of, and you save a ton of $ on haircuts.

Bald is beautiful!

It’s taking that stereotype to the extreme as a joke

Sheesh, someone is salty

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 25 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's literally the opposite of "would you still love me if I was a worm?"

[–] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Why is this a thing, where does it come from?

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

The internet? 🤷‍♂️

Just realized that "I'd love you even more, actually." is a pretty fun answer to any form of this question.
