I see it coming, in a very short time every Android and iOS phone will come with AI built-in and so intertwined in the phone that it'll be impossible to remove. I would like to investigate alternatives. I do have a few requirements--

Can run on ATT network (USA).
WiFi hotspot is a feature.
I need Ring Central for work. Therefore I would need to have some way of using Android apps, even if within a Linux or other system.

Within those confines, what are the most promising options?

A bigger issue than the APK changes is that Google no longer releases the source for Pixels after the 9.

Graphene claims they are partnering with another OEM, but we'll see how it goes

Yes as I understood checker will be integrated as part of Google services so it will be in container so in theory we can even erase this feature from our grafenos sandbox

Get a phone from the pixel 9 series and install GrapheneOS on it problem solved
