Did you see the piece about the lady driving through Bow Mar and they tried to blame her for stealing packages because she showed up on a camera as driving through that area? Very pushy cop too. Denver is out of control with these things.
I saw the first few minutes. The cop was straight up lying, and if she didn't have her own porch camera recording it, with audio, we'd never know.
How sensitive are these cameras to ranged damage? I don't expect them to be put in rural enough places for a .22 from the woods, would a pellet breach the case? What about a decent laser, could that fry the sensor? We don't have any where I live but I'd like to be ready to destroy them or at least incapacitate them.
I just checked my area which is very rural, mostly farmland, and there are 2 nearby. Not really sure what they're near exactly though
On deflock.me it usually tells you who put them in. If it's the police department then it's just on likely busy road.
They say operated by unknown. And it's not a busy road at all. I think I'm gonna take a ride by there and see what's up cause the location makes zero sense to me.

I drove by it yesterday and couldn't find anything. No devices that seemed out of place. So I'm guessing someone has either labeled the wrong place, or they just don't exist there anymore.
Nichia makes crazy good lasers but you need to focus the light perfectly on the camera.
Since my of us love lasers and need them for work, my recommendation is to not use those to cause releases of energy from a distance. That would cause more regulations. Maybe we should have a 2nd.1 amendment to give us the right to bare lasers, phasers and mazers and any tool that would help the people during an invasion. The homealone amendment.
They are solar powered, so if the panel were significantly damaged, the camera would be unable to recharge and would go offline. Might take a few days perhaps.
They're not that high off the ground. You could just tape a spray paint can to a stick and paint them black. Even the most powerful handheld laser pointers wouldn't take out the entire sensor. It might just leave some dead pixels.
