Ted knight died of colon cancer in 1986, Happy Gilmore was released in 1996. It was Ted Knight that said that line but the movie was Caddyshack not Happy Gilmore.

both are golfing-centered movies; you can be forgiven for it since they're essentially the same story. lol
Iβm confused. This image / gif is from Caddyshack. TBH, I havenβt seen Happy Gilmore, so Iβm not certain what scene you could be thinking of from that one.
Some interesting faces in the crowd. On the right, a very young Ben Stiller relative. Behind him, an elderly Forrest Gump who's decided to do one last coast-to-coast run. :P
There's even a sort of Jack Nicklaus / Arnold Palmer-looking guy to the left. All bases covered!
