He's always been pretty chill unless someone is trying to merge code he doesn't like into the Linux kernel, then he'd throw 20 back-to-back emails insulting that guy and go back to the Linus we know.
He's pretty chill, unless you break userspace. In that case, Linus will break you. But pretty cool otherwise

From watching wan show these bands are ones you need to have the orthodontist change, and he can probably not be arsed to change those just for a discoloration when they're changed on a schedule anyway.
