I don't see an admiral winning in a landlocked state. Coloradans have no knowledge of the sea and thus have no way to understand her accomplishments.

Unironically yes. Raising children is real, socially useful work. Raising five of them is hard work. Being a privileged member of the apparratus of imperial violence is not.
I do, however, doubt that she raised them herself. I would be very surprised if she didn't have underpaid nannies to do the heavy lifting while she was off murdering brown people.
