Would it be possible to have an automod do live match threads like on the reddit sub? I'd like to switch over to Lemmy permanently but this subreddit's pretty dead and seems to mostly just have PL content?

It does live match threads, you just need to request your team's matches

Another question for you if you don't mind. How are you seeing this post? When I go to the football@lemme.ee sub I can't find this post even when sorting by new, is that just a bug on my end?

You might have "hide read" turned on. If so, you can turn it off here:

Huh yeah that's weird i'm not seeing it viewing "new comments" or "new". I'm on the ios app, but I do see a couple more recent posts now. Maybe it's cause it's my own post? That'd be kinda weird but idk

There is a setting about "hiding read posts" or something similar, maybe that's what's happening here
