One Nation is no stranger to the headlines, but it's been a long time since the party has been talked about as a serious political force.

No they won't. It's just media hype.

... because the media owners are in on it. Don't forget though Scomo got in.

God I hope not. When I’ve seen them on TV news recently they have been getting glazed by the likes of channel 9 and 10.

If that party's history has taught us anything, it's PHON parliamentarians don't stay in PHON for very long. Hansen must be a nightmare to work with, I'm sure it's a lot of 'my name's on the party' and 'it's my way or the highway'. Any seats she gains will move to the crossbench within months.

Malcom Roberts seems to stuck to her like shit to a blanket.

Also its mostly Palmers parties that suffer this, from Jacqui Lambie on down. Then everyone leaves the Jacqui Lambie alliance, like Tawny.

It's headlines like this that sow apathy and allow it to take hold. My hope is that the younger generation can see through it enough to make it matter at the ballot box.

Our compulsory and full preferential voting mean that apathy does not matter to anywhere near the same degree as in most other countries.

We must release Pauline pantsdown!

But in all seriousness, it's sad to see the country leaning into the right.
