I'm a big fan of Voyager for mobile

I’m a huge fan of ~~Apollo~~ I mean Voyager. I kid … I kid … Voyager is an awesome app and my daily drive for Lemmy. Pretty easy to use and not hard to look at either, but you really do need to use Dark Mode.

ooooo this looks like a very Cool App! :0000000000000
Thanks! :D

Voyager is the best of all I've tried as well

[–] warmaster@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

It also has a web app for desktop.

Personally, I've always been a big fan of Sync for Reddit / Lemmy, and Thunder for Lemmy is the closest thing I've seen yet, so that's my daily driver on Android. On desktop I use Alexandrite.

Me too, although I only compared once, at the beginning of the journey.

Check out !lemmyapps@lemmy.world for updates on the latest apps

Wonderful day! ✨

Have you checked out the following miracles?:
- Alexandrite - Web, though may be self-hosted;
- Thunder - Android, and probably iOS;

[–] warmaster@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

This is my favorite combo. Best apps for general use. Interstellar is better for image posts since it's the only Lemmy app that supports masonry layout.

[–] RetroHax@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Alexandrite does look cool but the Fact that i have to host it myself and cant just install it like the Element Mtraix Client is kind of a Bummer >.>
Thunder does look quite cool tho! :D

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You don't have to host it yourself. Just pop over to https://alexandrite.app/

[–] RetroHax@feddit.org 1 points 2 months ago

ah! :0
then i misread! ^^"
sorry! :(

[–] waldfee@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago

We actually have a frontend for Alexandrite at a.feddit.org

Summit is the best mobile app, in my opinion 😁

[–] Mostly_Gristle@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago (2 children)

One of features I really like about Summit is that it shows the age of new accounts next to the user name on comments by default. It's not a feature I knew I wanted, but I love it now that I have it.

[–] TheRealKuni@piefed.social 5 points 2 months ago

Voyager also does this! Such a useful feature.

[–] Eldaroth@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Blorp does something similar, showing a baby face icon besides a new user in comments or posts

[–] frongt@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 months ago

Boost shows the hatched chick: 🐣

[–] sauerkrautsaul@lemmus.org 2 points 2 months ago

also voting for summit

[–] RetroHax@feddit.org 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

ah hm i may have to try it out XD
Defently looks quite Good from the Screenshots :P

[–] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 4 points 2 months ago

Have tried most of them and none feel as good as Summit.

[–] Zen_Shinobi@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] Gerald@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 2 months ago

Voyager is great!

[–] Wrongdoer2@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 months ago

For me boost is the best on mobile, quite similar to reddit.

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 6 points 2 months ago

For me it's voyager on mobile and Alexandrite in desktop browser.

[–] freeman@feddit.org 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I am on Interstellar on android. It even has a comments from crosspost-feature for lemmy accounts

[–] RetroHax@feddit.org 1 points 2 months ago

ooooooh thats a cool feature! :D

[–] kutt@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

If you are on iOS you should take a look at Mlem

[–] RetroHax@feddit.org 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Im sadly a Fat and Sweaty Android User XD

[–] kutt@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] gedaliyah@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

That page is chronically out of date. A better option is https://www.lemmyapps.com/

[–] Limerance@piefed.social 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Why do you like it? It wastes a lot of space and lacks features compared to voyager and Blorp.

[–] kutt@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Honestly I just like the UI, it looks great and it's fast. It's also customizable enough for my needs, and is native to iOS so it follows its design/UI rules. In terms of space it is indeed a bit bigger, but honestly it doesn't bother me that much it's only 40MB more. Last but not least, the dev team is very helpful and answers quickly on their Matrix chat.

I'm curious though, what features do you think it lacks?

[–] Limerance@piefed.social 5 points 2 months ago

Big fan of Blorp

[–] asudox@lemmy.asudox.dev 2 points 1 month ago

Summit. Very active and friendly dev.

[–] somegeek@programming.dev 1 points 2 months ago

I use Jerboa on android

[–] hanrahan@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 months ago

Boost and Jerboa (on Amdroid, the latter from F Droid)
