The reality is simple: if you want war, prepare for war. If you want peace, prepare for peace. We must forge peace from below, hand in hand with the fight for social justice and socialism.

if you want peace, prepare for war.
otherwise the "peace" will be dictated by the one preparing for war.

This logic very obviously doesn't work for any country or a bloc that's up against a bigger one.
