God I wish we’d scrap this.

We like to think ourselves as so egalitarian and then have policies like this?

I think we as a country think this.... For the most part.

I think our current government will take anyone and anything that is willing to offer them money.

Trump's Peace Board? Costs money. If Trump was handing out money to join, I wouldn't bet against us being first in line to say yes.

cutting the amount of time applicants must spend in the country to establish residency from three years to three weeks.

Three weeks is enough time to really get to know a place and mint some golden relationships.

I've lived and worked here for 8 years. Last year i finally qualified for a residency for the first time.

It's $6.5k.

I haven't been able to save that much since I've been here. My paycheck goes directly to my landlord.

Fuck all of this. I'm leaving this place as soon as i can. You don't want me here.
