I want billionaires and shareholders to not exist, for workers to run the businesses they work for instead of making shareholders rich off their labour, and for taxes to go towards education, healthcare and social benefits instead of military spending and excessive police funding. As an example, denying the Tiananmen Square massacre, denying human rights abuses and horrid living conditions in North Korea, or supporting Russia in its invasion and attempted genocide of Ukraine and its people.

Cowardly. They can't handle dissent, so they ban you for challenging their ideas. There's only one acceptable position there, and that's being a full-throated tankie who professes that authoritarian regimes and the atrocities they commit are A-OK as long as they're opposed to the West while doing so.

.ml isn't tolerant towards other ideologies or beliefs. If it isn't full-throated support for authoritarian regimes, then it's considered a bannable offense, even if you support actual socialism or communism. Note that your ban was very likely from the admins themselves, as the moderators hardly do any banning there compared to Dessalines and Davel.

Maybe in 10 years they will. Dessalines is far too busy wasting time constantly banning people for disagreeing with him or criticizing his favourite regimes instead of developing his platform. There's a reason Piefed is overtaking Lemmy in development speed and quality.

That blinking is a good thing. That means that the bulb is running on a pre-heat starter, which gets the electrodes hot before sending full voltage through the fixture. This greatly extends the light's lifespan. The modern "rapid start" and "instant start" starters just do the shotgun approach of forcing a ton of voltage through the tube, which succeeds in instantly starting it but also blasts off some of the emissive coating on the filaments. A tube running on one of those starters will fail a lot faster and the ends of the tubes will blacken quickly from the coating.

Even if so (I don't know this user or their beliefs), what does that have to do with the current discussion? All I can see is you going full aggro against them completely unprompted. You addressed nothing about what they said, just immediately leaped to insults and accusations. The fact you didn't bother checking your spelling just makes you look like you saw this user and just went off on them without a second thought out of anger. This is something I have seen you do time and time again.
