Slashing prices.

That was before I got into the games. I began playing when BC2 had been out for a while.

Seriously. The Battlefield series is by far my most played series of games with thousands of hours but BF5 really killed my interest and 2042 I purchased but only played like 20 minutes of. I find the Battle Royal stuff incredibly lame too. Part of this is just me aging out of the demographic I suppose, but this seems to be a common sentiment among the rest of the player base as well which is why 2042 flopped so hard.

I would love to go back to the mechanics that made Bad Company 2, BF3, and BF4 (despite their terrible buggyness for the first year or so) so wonderful. The kind of maps that you could play over and over and still have a great time (Operation Metro). Quit trying to copy the mechanics of other games because if I wanted to play like that, I would be playing those games instead.

This is probably all a moot point at this stage as I just find myself drawn to simple games on the Switch like Mario Kart, Kirby and Zelda, the Lego series, and barely ever touch any massive games like this outside of the Soulsborne games (currently gave up on Elden Ring but enjoying the Demons Souls remake)

Meanwhile three robbery suspects are running loose in GA.

I use a PEI sheet + hairspray for my smooth plate and just raw dog the textured plate. I find that prints don't stick well enough on my smooth PEI (Bambu) without the hairspray to help.

You might try hairspray over glue as it's super easy to get even coverage and is significantly cheaper that glue especially with all these expensive "specialized" printing glues that have come out recently.

My experience has been the exact opposite. Dish soap cleans lead to a lot of lifted prints on my Bambu smooth and textured sheets. Dish soap followed by IPA works better but seems pointless when IPA alone works best.

Maybe try using 70% or 91% IPA. 99% might evaporate too fast to give it a good cleaning.

What were we talking about?

Be prepared for quite a shock as they've either drastically cut the makeup department or half the cast got major plastic surgery/filler between S03 and S04. I've been pretty disappointed with the story this season as well as it seems a bit aimless.

I don't really agree with this argument. TLC, MTV, VH1, History, Discovery, Animal Planet, etc are all still there despite being pretty much 100% reality TV these days. Most cable channels cycle between showing the same garbage TV and only still exist so that cable companies can brag about having 1000 channels even though they all show the same stuff and have a historically low subscriber count. They're zombie channels.

The people downvoting you must be too young to remember what Comey did to get Trump elected in 2016.

I've got several Amcrest cameras connected through Frigate (running standalone) to HA but I'm not sure how to properly setup the camera card so that the 'thumbnail' shown on the dashboard cards refreshes every so often.

Previously I had them connected directly to HA via the Dahua integration and set the camera streams as both the thumbnail image and as what's displayed when you click the card and this all worked fairly well (the thumbnail would refresh every few minutes) but now after switching to Frigate, the thumbnails have remained static since the day it was initially set up and never refresh and I'm not sure how to fix this.

The cameras are all PoE and connected to an Amcrest NVR which does the main recording while Frigate just sees the substream and uses it for object detection and remote viewing through HA. Clicking the camera cards allows me to view the stream but for whatever reason the thumbnails never refresh.

I'm migrating from lemm.ee and just created an account here but for some reason I'm seeing only a handful to zero comments on sh.itjust.works posts even when they show hundreds of comments.

I'm vaguely familiar with similar federation issues where you might not see old comments if you're the first person to subscribe to a community on a different instance, but I don't understand why I can't see comments on posts from what is now my native instance.

Can anyone clarify what's going on?
