There are charging stations with 40 chargers delivering +200kW each, they're powered by HV lines directly to transformers located at the charging stations. But most (all?) BEVs are only near max charging power for a fairly short period of time, and full occupation is also not seen very often. These large stations (and smaller too) are managed by load sharing, so in the theoretical case that 40 cars arrive exactly at the same time with perfectly prepared battery temperature and SoC and all connect at exactly the same time, they will just be capped by the chargers so the station doesn't exceed available power spec.

A 3D-printed data strip encodes instructions for the printer as holes in a plastic sheet, which open and close simple switches in the motor controller. These switches control the speed, direction, and duration of the motors’ movement, letting the data strip encode motion vectors.

LOL, he made a punch card controlled printer...that's really awesome and fun use of old tech.

Probably $3.5 tops

The EU also tariffs them heavily

Yes, to tip the scales back towards fair competition pricing by offsetting the subsidies the Chinese brands are getting from their government. It doesn't fully offset it though, they're still quite a lot cheaper than e.g. VW BEVs

Likely swerve and come to a hard full stop.

If you have a great idea but no drawing skills, why not use AI to help you get that great idea out in to the worldin great visuals? Why is your idea less worth because you needed AI to draw it? Why would the same idea be worth more if you paid a human to draw it? The idea is exactly the same

Not everyone wants to do "art", so the assumption that AI shouldn't make that and leave it to humans is objectively wrong. Plenty of hobbies and things people love to do recreationally has no artistic value of purpose.

Use AI however you like, it can create value wherever you see fit. You don't like it for artistic outlet which is fine, I don't care and think this crap you made is equally meaningless.

Why not let people who are exceptional at creating ideas but terrible at putting them in to physical/visual representation use AI to aid them with skills they don't have?

Human made does not equal worthwhile. not everything is worth something just because a human made it.

That's actually not gender specific, good looking people generally do better and are judged less harshly, regardless of gender.

when I run on my treadmill, it has suddenly started feeling like it briefly stops the belt whenever I land my stride. I've tried greasing the board underneath the belt with silicone grease according to the manual, but that didn't help. Any advice on how to fix this? Could it be the belt that needs tightening?

[SOLUTION] It was just belt tension, it had become too slack. A quick tightening fixed the issue completely.

I currently have two TVs, one I use an appleTV with and the other with a googleTV HD (device formerly known as Chromecast), but they both have issues.

The jellyfin app on appleTV is messed up, it fucks up audio and subs all the time, and in general has a hard time with media that has multiple audio tracks, not using the audio I select with the remote.

The googleTV just stutters with almost everything, direct stream or transcoded doesn't matter. All of my library is just 1080p, I have proper wifi to it, all mobile devices stream just fine.

So neither of these provide me with a solution that really works.

What solutions can you recommend, that allows for seamless navigation of jellyfin with my remote? I don't want anything resembling a mouse/keyboard combo for navigation whatsoever.
