Great point! I hadn’t considered the rake. It still seems like having a high rake (which increases downforce) fighting an inverse wing (reducing downforce) would increase drag more than anything else though.
I’m really interested to see how this works out too. Agreed it seems like it would briefly add more drag than other systems and presumably this provide some amount of lift upside down which seems counterproductive.

Yeah I think so. The push to pass system is the DRS replacement whereas the active aero is now just a part of the cars.
Mostly, but everyone will be able to use it so the car being chased will also have the new DRS. I don’t think they’ve announced if there will be track sections where it’s allowed / not allowed.
Interesting that the power struggle was often framed as Marko vs Horner, but obviously there must have been other factions internally if they’re both gone.
Looks pretty cool. I don’t see much connection to F1 or Brazil, but much better than another branded one!
