⚡️A plant for the production of strike UAVs was hit on the territory of the Russian Federation, at a distance of more than 1000 km from the state border of Ukraine

On April 23, 2025, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a fire strike on the production of strike UAVs (Geran-2, Shahed type and others).

The production capacity of the enterprise is about 300 different UAVs per day. It is located in the Yelabuga district of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation) at a distance of 1054 km from the state border of Ukraine.

Hits and explosions in the area of the target have been confirmed.

At the moment, damage to the UAV final assembly shop is known.

The results of the strike are being clarified.

This strike is a fair response by Ukraine to a Russian strategic military facility that is used to ensure the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and terror against civilians in Ukraine.

Thank you to our soldiers for their accuracy.

Glory to Ukraine!🇺🇦

There were no reports of drones or missiles. That leaves sabotage, incompetence, or sabotage disguised as incompetence. The AFU usually takes credit the same day for sabotage and Russia blames it on "safety violations".

"The reason is a violation of safety requirements." The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed a fire and detonation of ammunition on the territory of a military unit in the Vladimir region

According to the department, this happened as a result of a “fire” due to a violation of safety regulations.

The military unit and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were called in to extinguish the fire.

Not a dumb question at all. When AA guns miss, the bullets eventually fall back down, often tumbling, which slows them down but doesn’t make them harmless. Even tumbling rounds can injure or kill. Collateral damage does happen but often goes unreported due to censorship or lack of clear attribution.
