I agree with you. As well, if you want to squeeze out a little more profit, transferring usd to CAD while the spread is the widest is probably a good move.

This is what I don't understand: did felon truly believe that average magas (so not fascists tech bros and nepo babies) are going to give up gas cars and buy EVs instead?

tesla has been in a bubble for years. Granted, if an investor bought shares 10+ years ago, probably still make a tidy profit if they sell today. However those who bought in the past few months will probably pray for greater fools to rush in atm.
This is a good point. I do tend to get my vaccine shots (Covid and flu) on Fridays to account for recovery days.
