In the absolute universe Darkseid takes away the hero's "light". Superman grows up without his adopted parents, wonder woman without the Amazon's, and batman has no money. His mom is alive though.

Half is way too generous here. Think of a hypothesis, then create a null hypothesis, collect data, analyze data, does that data fit your hypothesis or your null hypothesis? Then examine for any potential bias. He barely has a hypothesis right now.
It's all about money. They're making boatloads from the stock market dips. They won't care about immigration until it starts hurting them. Even then this administration will just bail them out
