Being attacked by a cat is annoying, not potentially lethal. Also cats don't usually attack without reason. If a cat keeps attacking for "no reason" that's learned behaviour. Their instinct is to run away from humans, which is what wild and feral cats do unless cornered.

The answer to genocide is not inviting more genocide.
And yes, nukes are effective as a deterrent. Look at how reluctant the West is to support Ukraine against a genocidal invasion because of Russia's repeated nuclear threats. There's no way any country is going to give up its nuclear weapons after Ukraine showed just how little security guarantees from the great powers are actually worth.
That was before Netanyahu brought the far right into power, and before the US gave said far right a blank cheque for ethnic cleansing (and that's the charitable way of phrasing that).
Sadly the current Israeli government isn't likely to leave willingly. Certainly not while they have the full backing of the US.

That's just a No true Scotsman argument. Their (alleged) end goal was the creation of a classless, stateless communist society. They haven't achieved that, and they wouldn't have claimed to have achieved that. But they would've claimed that their crimes were a necessary step towards that goal. You can't just brush aside the people most associated with the "far left" label, regardless of whether or not you personally feel like they are "undeserving" of it.
There are more figures on the far left than anarchists. You can't just No true Scotsman Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot.
