It's real. My 3 yr old can't speak his mother tongue properly but can use phone like an adult

So if I use a subsystem of linux in windows, then i wouldn't risk losing data and it would be much more efficient than VM?

[–] brown_guy@lemm.ee 1 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

What exactly is a windows subsystem? Is it like VM?

I spend 10 hours on my laptop screen and usually hangout with my old friends for 2-3 hours. All because I just passed out of high school and my uni will start in sep

So time isn't an issue at all. However finding the exact articles or videos for the exact problem would be hard

You mean getting a dual boot is easier and less time consuming than setting up a VM?

IDK much about these. Probably I'll binge linux vids on YT for a while to get more info. After reading this comment section, i feel like i should try it because coding is just better in linux and i usually play single player offline games so even gaming would be fine there

So that WSL thing doesn't work in Windows home edition you mean?

I'm considering installing Linux on my laptop but I'm unsure if I should start with a virtual machine first. My main use cases are gaming and coding, so I want to make sure it's the right fit.

What are the pros and cons of using Linux for someone like me? Would starting with VirtualBox be a good idea before going all in?

Is he fkn restarted? Even those "so called master race" people would have punched him in the face if they still existed

Yeah that's what I meant

Being banned for saying your opinion is the worst part

I was banned for saying my country needs gender neutral laws

[–] brown_guy@lemm.ee 1 points 1 month ago

Well I used to have good posts on my feed because I built my algo that way

I have reddit turned shit in the recent years. And they even banned for saying my country needs gender neutral laws. so yeah I guess overall it's bad

Well other than politics reddit is quite good. It's the best for asking stuff about unis, degrees and jobs

I always wanted to pursue CS as my majors but due to the recent news of SWE getting fired changed my mind

Now I'm confused about what to opt for my bachelors. Should I take CS or a Management degree?
