PS: I'm leaning towards "don't say anything you wouldn't in a court of law" model these days. If its online - and you don't own the infra - there's always a risk.

You should assume everything you say online is being captured by govts. Encrypt everything you can, use a no log VPN not based in 15 eyes, use OS and browser with sandboxes/containers

I really appreciate the post and I'm using it! For a long term project, it would be fantastic if there were audio versions for each and then that made into a tankie tube playlist. I do take advantage of audiobooks when available

If by world leaders you're including the entirety of the Epstein class but sparing the working class of those nations, that's understandable. But when not hating us, try to remember that as a whole we are ok with genocide, detention centers with inhumane conditions, international sanctions that cause starvation, extravagant military, drone attacks, etc. You could excuse us by saying our propaganda has greatly skewed our beliefs, and that would be correct. But it's not hard to see that murder is wrong, even if propagandized, so we have some responsibility. Don't we have a responsibility to overthrow the leaders?

I bet those robots are nimble enough and strong enough to be used for rescue operations in natural disasters

Yeah esp with Reddit giving info to DHS, folks need to get off that platform so they can speak their minds

Really needs to be an overall push in the left communities to get more ppl using federated social media. I think a lot of ppl would, they just don't know it exists except mastodon

Graphene os can run it on other phones, it's just not as secure and you have to build it yourself

Ok I got it, there was a place to enter it manually separate from the search. Thanks!

Yes, it's a security and privacy focused ROM that runs on pixels. Remember the stories recently about that reporter whose phone didn't get hacked by the FBI because it was in lockdown mode? That's not required in graphene, you can just turn off the USB port and never get your phone hacked by cellebrite, with no impact to usage like lockdown mode. Once you have a VPN set up, it will automatically always use the VPN. It has a hardened kernel and memory allocation. All apps are sandboxed and you have very granular control over app permissions. Apps that require permissions can have fake permissions or some mix of real and fake permissions. There's a lot more, it really is the best option and since it can run on pixels 6, 7 & 8 it is the cheapest option
