I hope Bernie and AOC can pull something together, because the rest of our “opposition” has less backbone than a single spaghetti noodle thats been boiling for a full day.

I also hope neither of them are disappeared to El Salvador, but I’m worried that AOC is gonna get the Navalny treatment sooner or later. That’s not to say I think she should stop. That’s to say that I genuinely think she should get some non-fascist veterans and 2A supporters to act as her non-federally-affiliated physical security, if she can.

In an alarming development, the White House slams judges by releasing a new executive order titled “Trump finds probable cause for the Judicial Branch to suck on deeze nuts”; Schumer and Jeffries urge cooperation and reconciliation by wringing their hands and asking you for $13 before midnight to meet a nonexistent deadline. Oh, cool, is it sweeping generalizations’o clock? I didn’t realize.

AND YOU DID IT IN A LANGUAGE I DON’T LIKE FOR ESOTERIC REASONS DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT CAN ELIMINATE ENTIRE CATEGORIES OF BUGS BY SIMPLE NATURE OF ITS SYNTAX AND COMPILER REEEEEEEE

Genuinely, the vociferous pushback against Rust by a small minority of irrational C purist assholes is so, so dumb.

I think you shouldn’t quit your day job, because this is nonsense. Nobody thinks this. I don’t even understand what you’re trying to prove here.

I do hope Macron channels de Gaulle (1966) at the meeting, and in any policy he enacts and pushes the EU to adopt as a result. To those unfamiliar: France pulled out of the NATO command structure from 1966 to 2009 because they didn’t trust the US to simply use it as an extension of the US military. And I do mean “they should kick us out”, not that they should leave themselves at this point.

I mean that’s one of the things Germany needs to pull its head out of its ass about. There are other things, too.

Read up on the Holodomor, and more broadly, the Tsarist- and Soviet-era tactics that have been used by Russia throughout their history to fragment, undermine, and winnow away at non-Russian ethnic groups that they’ve subsumed in their expansionist conquests.

Fucking embarrassing. And dangerous as all fuck.

Are you guys, like, not seeing what’s going on over on our side of the pond? Are you feeling nostalgic for some overenthusiastic hiking through foreign countries? Are you feeling the need for scapegoating and protectionism? Holy fucking christ.

Look at how we are fucking up, and then don’t do that. Please. For the love of god.

I fully expect the ruling regime and their lieutenants who now control all of these agencies to just issue blanket directives to refuse to comply with FOIA going forward. They’ve already openly and flagrantly refused to comply with Supreme Court rulings. This would be peanuts compared to that.

sure would be a shame if you fell out of a 10th story window headfirst onto a couple of bullets, wouldn’t it?

That is actually kinda neat and fun :)

Super awesome that the heaviest hitters in the industry are folding like this. It’s almost as if the entire legal profession is worth jack shit. Jesus tapdancing christ.

It’s a very obvious solution once you take a look at what a lot of their coastline looks like. Elevated armor delivery. Skip the beach. Dump ‘em’ straight on the coastal roads. Makes a shocking amount of sense. Definitely much more specific of a use case than the more general purpose landing support vessels that the USN/USMC employs, but for their primary missions and targets in the next decade, this is exactly the hardware that will significantly increase the CCP’s chances.

This is the an evolution of the combined arms amphibious assault tactics that the US has refined for the better part of a century. For heavily built up targets - specifically those that need to be assaulted and captured quickly for any reasonable chance of success (read: Taiwan + establishing a foothold on the island), this is PERFECT. This basically lets you dump 1000 tanks and a ton of IADS and 100k infantrymen in like, an hour.

That’s a paradigm shift right there.
