Lol, typo. Thanks. It would actually make sense with the correct number, 10, so I'll edit.

Apparently the UK user was pairing transphobic stuff. Transphobia is against the reddit.uk rules. The blahaj admin asked for the admin to uphold their rules. They did not and then ignored further messages.

It's not about posts they didn't like. It's about harmful posts that are bigotry. Other bigots agreeing does not make it better, not make the rules change.

The feddit UK admin did nothing. They didn't uphold their rules but remained hands off and ignored further messages. They are now posting that the admins are in further discussion after recent UK court rulings. Smells like BS to me.

It goes to the old adage. What happens when a non Nazi sits at a table with 9 Nazis for discussion? There are 10 Nazis having a discussion.

This seems like it was a single user, so hardly at scale. What happens if you tolerate at small scale is that it becomes large scale.

I completely agree that moderation is time consuming and hard but that doesn't mean hatred should go unchecked. A simple warning to users that they are in breach of rules does the trick.

So, are you actively discussing how to handle that? Werr you at the time that there were no replies to Ads? Or is that something that is now happening as there is a spotlight?

I don't see how the legal definition of a woman in UK courts for the purpose of female only spaces would have an effect on how you seal with transphobia. Even in a UK defined 'female' only space, transphobia can still be moderated in real life, never mind online. It's just simple courtesy and respect.

Did you reply to Ada's continued messages or ignore them as they state? You say that Ada's account mischaracterises what happened, yet offer no proof or specifics, while knowing Ada can't see this.

Your post seems mostly reasonable but doesn't address the reasons for defederarion, really, in my view.

It looks like it's not because of the user, but because of how the admins tolerate such behavior. That seems reasonable to me. Just another sign of the horrible transphobia that the UK has become known for.

Because in context, that would seem like they weren't as prepared as they should be. Instead that part of the announcement will be delayed as they are already worried about their dropping share price.

It'll be the same. Perhaps different, cheaper battery and motor, but otherwise, the same. If it wasn't, they would have said so.

I wouldn't even be surprised if it was the same car with an option to pay to unlock the same features.

Yep, as a business leader, that led in this direction, he's not leading on taking the blame, is he?

I suppose you could pose the question differently. Who would you give 10,100,1000 to if they said they needed it but they said no questions asked.

I get that. My point is that in arenas that have usually nothing to do with the USA, it's being talked about as fact that the USA is in a failed state at the moment.

It doesn't have the dramatics of things like 9/11 that changed the world irrevocably. However, it's a similar feeling for those not in the USA. The world has changed and won't be the same. You don't have to follow the news to be aware.

It’s not just in the news. My husband is a lawyer. He was on a training conference today. Part of it was about how the rule of law needs to be followed and society only works when it is. They then discussed how important it was to upkeep that using America as an example of a government no longer following rule of law. This wasn’t internet memes. This was senior legal minds discussing how American democracy is failing.

Yes it can, however, you're commenting on a thread that started by talking about central planning.
