What's the etiquette for posting #mastodon or other federated posts on some of the other reddit-analogues? From what I see you can just mention a #piefed or #lemmy group in a post and it will create a post in that group.
But is that actually something the users of those platforms want?

@PunnyName @Flax_vert eh. I would say he at least had very valid points

@Saapas @aceshigh I don't know why the real stones ALWAYS need to tell you they can stop anytime unasked

@kyonshi@pixelfed.de @photography@piefed.social @photography@lemmy.world hmm, it does show up as a post on piefed immediately, lemmy took a bit longer. Neither seem to see the comments from #mastodon and #pixelfed (or #lemmy and #piefed respectively).

Oh well.

@Krudler @alorgonkr I dunno, there was some inspired stuff over the years, but over time most artists hit a bit of a wall

@lugal @EfreetSK child mortality rates were pretty fucking high in earlier times. Around the time the original poem was published 40-50% of children under 15 died.

Only vaccines and modern medicine put this down to 4.2% globally in 2022, with the most developed countries reaching 0.3%

That is to say... that poem had a point.

Long-term Diagram of child mortality showing a sharp drop from 50% over most of hostory to close to 0-5% at current times

@UnderpantsWeevil @Flax_vert not having a thick tighed goth girlfriend?

Which is to say, not an alternative at all

@samus12345 @excral DSA uses a sort of garbled Latin for spells (and Latin as the "old" language Bosparano, with modern Garethi represented as German. Doesn't make sense in context, but it keeps with the quasi-medieval feel of the setting)
