I essentially fall under lawful neutral but I'm not so sure the maker of this graphic would agree if they found out the monitor's height isn't adjustable so it's standing on the package of a dumbbell set (two weights I never use and the instructions should still be in there). The laptop is placed on an incomplete ikea bathroom mirror cabinet shelf add-on that I basically used once and realized I didn't actually need it so it's been in misuse ever since I bought it basically. The bathroom shelf is only half as deep as the laptop so I've added a pad of mixed media art paper on top of it/below the laptop for stability.

Yes, that's exactly it, thank you!

I checked another device where I got Fennec installed and it still works just fine there since I don't have automatic updates enabled and it's still on 139.0.4. But by the looks of it it seems to be intentional and I think I vaguely remember either F-Droid or some other place even advertising Fennec with that feature.

I just installed Ironfox to check and I'm running into the same issue there. I'd also be fine with a browser that lets me enable closing all tabs and deleting all history and cache upon closing the browser, private mode was just an all in one solution for that.
Are those too specific demands for a browser for android? I thought these were very basic wishes a user might have...

Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this but I couldn't find a Fennec-specific community and I don't know what I'd have to look up to find something related to troubleshooting browsers.

My issue is this: I use Fennec exclusively in private browsing mode and ever since the new update I have to select the private tab manually every time I open the browser. I don't know if this was something I had enabled in the settings ages ago, if the browser was previously able to remember my selection but now isn't able to anymore for some reason OR if I accidentally changed my settings today while I was trying out a couple things.

Any response (even just telling me I'm stupid and that I obviously need to select XYZ in the settings) from other Fennec users would be appreciated :)

Agreed, but the Ras El Hanout flavor one is edible and tasty if you're not expecting it to taste like hummus.

Lidl is better for almost anything. I used to be a hardcore Aldi (Nord) loyalist until Lidl started having a very good vegan selection and better hummus. A couple years ago I probably could've named something I miss from Aldi, but at the moment I genuinely can't think of anything except that I remember their selection of local-cuisine-themed sweets to have a slightly better selection. When they had a Spanish week some months ago they had Almendrados, which is something I've never seen a Lidl carry.

But I think this highly depends on where you shop and what you need/are expecting a discounter to carry.

Wow, this is possibly the most stereotypically lemmy post ("lemmy users either like Star Trek, Linux or both") I've seen in a while.
