That description reminds me of the way Guillermo del Toro described the vampires in The Strain. Makes me wonder if theres some symbolism about them he was referring to

Ooooh! I've got a thing for this:

My friend runs it each year. His pictures are nuts

To be fair it earned the hype. GTA 5 was released in 2013, spanned three console generations and set a bunch of records along the way.

Will GTA 6 live up to it? Who knows. But in an age where people lose their minds over sporting events that repeat every year, GTA 6 has earned its spot as one of the most anticipated games ever made.

Do you think he did anything else while PM or is that list the sum total of how you'll remember his premiership?

Also... Do you reckon there's a future in which the UK PMs actions on all these issues are closer aligned to what you'd want?

Just sharing a thought in case you're open to it.

Its great reading threads where people debate and counter each other. It can change and shape my opinions on all kinds of subjects. But when the threads just name calling it feels kind of gross, and is a real put off the opinions being shared.

You seem to know the subject, so I'll bet you've got some really interesting points you could share. I'd love to see a tidbit on how the founding fathers did this intentionally.

Any chance you could share a couple to help give some background to your point.

It's such a modern problem, clearly we need some new solutions. Maybe verified, none anonymous social media is at least part of that solution.

I'm not saying that all social media should be verified accounts. But if everything becomes bots run by EvilCorp, then there's nothing left for the rest of us.

As far as I know there's nothing about the Fediverse that protects us from EvilCorps bots

And somehow that's actually better odds than getting a good job after university 1.2m applicants for 17k graduates

Has anyone got any half decent ideas for how to improve age verification? Obvs without this draconian shit.

I had a thought once about doing it with NFTs, where a company could independently verify you with certain metadata, like 'is human' or 'is over 18' etc. Then you get issued your token, and these sites can verify you without de-anoninising you.

Not sure if that's a naff idea, but would be interested to know if anyone's got anything better
