we may actually see a change in status-quo when it comes to china, it is also possible that europe starts warming up more to india, indonesia, brazil and other lesser powers are relations with the US deteriorates, these are the ones i would put my money on when it comes to new allies

They barely could handle a war with small Ukraine, a full scale war with NATO is a no-go; and I'm quite certain Putin won't live that long

A cartoon character coughing in smoke is hard to process as laughing or poking fun

SELinux, wine (and other apps) installed via user flatpak with proper permissions configued, coupled with ufw or firewalld, secure boot enabled and an immutable system should be fine, no?

On 5, i mean I don't see how you can switch tasks with it, like you know, a dock, or a task manager widget in plasma or windows.

Latest plasma is not confusing at all tho, it works really well, in fact I have it setup in my SO's mother and father laptop and they never once managed to break it, and never asked me how to do anything, just figured it out on their own, and they are not great with computers, I will they you that

You know, i do actually very often concur with these kinds of content, like the ones saying billionaires are leaches on society and governments are often used as a weapon to protect the ruling classes.

But man... when i come to lemmy i kinda want to only see memes, and funny stuff... even communities that are not niches to political content get political way too often. Like gotdammit, when i get to c/comics i just want to see funny drawings, i'm way too tired to want to see your lame class war comic...

Is that a feeling i'm the only one feeling?

edit: i think what makes it worse is that very often they're not even funny, just literal propaganda, "good guy propaganda", maybe, but still propaganda

edit n2: edited title and body slightly to be "open ended" on mod's request

I'm a .world user, so i have to say the obvious thing that this is just a joke, and should not be taken seriously

No, android does not count.

Is there anyone who daily drives Linux on apple silicon or other ARM hardware? If so, then how is your experience, would you recommend it?

For at least 3 years, I've been wanting to get an apple silicon mac to daily drive Linux on, lately I've been seriously considering getting one of these machines, or even other ARM hardware, like the thinkpad x13s or even the new Qualcomm laptops.

I'm pretty much sold on a used macbook air m1 at this point, but I still wish to hear what other people have to say
