So far have tried it out for a week and liking it. Simple to use UI as well, and of course the generous storage. Something I think is more useful is that it allows me to have a full on password while what I'm currently using for backing up photos (Proton Drive) only has "Biometrics or PIN" (wished Biometrics and PIN were separate).

I personally thought the UI was quite minamilistic and elegant

Found out about these two open-source cloud storage providers and wanted to know what anyone thought of them.

Oh I've heard of Cryptpad! I'm simply using LibreOffice and Quillpad for writing and notes. Also installed Standard Notes to try it out. Should try Cryptpad out more lol.

I'm actually using Syncthing to sync my music with my PC!

I've been trying out a lot of different applications lately and wanted to see what there was in store for open source cloud storage solutions. I'm aware of Proton Drive, MEGA, NextCloud, and TrueNAS; though right now just using the first two. What services have y'all been using to fight against Big Brother?

Just tried it out and this is absolute cinema. Got 1500 results for Minecraft.

Huh, I thought that was already in the app lol

From what I've been able to see, instances have to follow another instance for that instance's content to be shown on the follower's instance.

I'll check these out!

Trying to get into federated video content with PeerTube but having some trouble with discovering content. You guys have any favorite instances where you get most of your content from and stuff?

Edit: also feel free to share any channels you think are pretty good, like gaming or art and stuff
