I'm sure the other episodes have been good but I had to share this one because it has SCHOOE writing and reading out some of his poetry at 13 mins.

It's not half bad like. Obviously been practicing at Burns Night over the years.

I love the idea of there being some student union poetry meetup where Pierre finishes his spiel and the crowd respond, SCHOE!

Want a fun game that’s assured to get you black out? Watch the Paramount+ broadcast of the USA v England game and drink every time the commentators say:

  • The ref’s last name
  • ”The beautiful game of rugby”
  • “Debutant”
  • “Once again, the ref clearly communicating what he wants from the players”

Not sure if it’s available outside the US but holy shit it was some of the most atrocious commentating I’ve ever heard. Literally just the above things in a loop, ad nauseam. As it is, I already watch most sports broadcasts here in the US with the volume down because the commentators add nothing meaningful but I was hoping it would be better with a less popular sport.

Whatever, we scored a try

Huge for Wales. Big for Scotland. First permanent Welsh head coach since 2007

4

Given 9 Scots I'll be watching. But yet more call-ups announced. This match is a farce. We should skip the mid-week game when the test series starts next tour

It's finally here. Every 4 years there is a touring side like no other. And they've come to take on Australia this year. A tale of master Schmidt vs apprentice Farrell. A tale of shirt matchups, team cohesion, and new caps providing us with a roulette table too. 11AM BST don't miss it!

We've also go loads of othe rugby with

Scotland having already beaten Samoa
NZ vs France underweigh
SA hosting Georgia at 1610
Argentina to smash Uruguay at 2040
USA to take on England at 2205 \

And the U20s concludes today too! With NZ vs SA at 1930 surr to be a great watch

Cannot wait. Who's got any early predictions? Head, heart, and arse all welcomed!

Poor form from Farrell to call up yet more players imo. Even 3 scots. Makes a bit of a mockery of a tour

An AU/NZ side will face The Lions at 11

Don't believe Tom and the headline. This was a confident win still. And Australia will need a hell of a lot more

Schoooo! A great read from Tom English here. Hoping he makes at least the bench for a test

Score29-26 to Scotland

Woke up at 5:30AM to catch all of the 2nd half. Both teams obviously missing a lot of stars

Maybe put spoilers around score discussion because many fellow Scots will be watching catch-up this morning.

I feel for Wales fans. Just 1 left and we're still 2 weeks out from the first test. Japan host Wales this weekend also, fingers crossed for Wales to give Eddie Jones a hiding

Some Lions history for us all today

The British and Irish Lions. 8pm BST tonight. Miss it at your peril, the Argentinian under practiced team vs a scratch side of superstars. Who will win?

Top 14, and Super Rugby in play offs too. So this weekend has greatness written all over it!

Just astounding to play for that length of time, more power to them!

With 28 of the 32 players being current MLR players, with every team except RFCLA represented, I'm excited to see how we fare.

Very English, still a good read

Two finals today, the newly rebranded Prem and the URC and both should be fab. Any predictions, anyone at a game?

A good thing for club and player. I may not like him, but he's undoubtedly a force in English rugby. Laying his pathway to coaching with this too, I could see him running the England setup in under a decade

Did anyone know about the British and Irish Lions? Wall to wall coverage expected til that third test, and I'm loving it
