From being one of the most used operating systems to becoming a universally ridiculed, Windows has been negatively transformed by Microsoft’s own decisions. And it's all by design. In this episode, we take a look.

While Trump is promising $2000 tariff dividends, it seems like a good time for some reminders about how tax payments and inflation work in the US.

A while ago, we used bird repellant to make an apple that tastes like a grape, and it turned out surprising well. Since then though, we were convinced that it has to work with other flavors. In theory, we believe that we can make an apple taste like just about anything.

From the video description:

Ever wondered what student life was really like 800 years ago? This deep dive reveals the shocking truth about medieval universities: students woke at 4AM for lectures in complete darkness, fought pitched battles against townspeople, and most couldn't afford to graduate despite completing their studies. Using primary sources and contemporary accounts, we explore how medieval student struggles compare to modern university life.

Video about the bronze age archeology and history.

From the description:

Lab’ayu of Shechem was one of the most dynamic and disruptive figures in the Amarna Letters and Late Bronze Age Canaan. Drawing directly from the texts, we reconstruct Lab’ayu’s political strategy, his alliances, his ties to the ʿApiru, and his bold attempts to control trade routes linking Canaan, Egypt, and Syria. We also explore how his actions shaped the geopolitical landscape of the Jezreel Valley and how his territorial ambitions formed a pattern echoed later in biblical history, including the narratives of Abimelech, Saul, and the early Israelite monarchy.

Using petrographic studies, territorial modeling, and close textual analysis, we contextualize Lab’ayu within the wider world of Egypt’s vassal network and highlight how a ruler from the highlands leveraged an unruly frontier for his own expansion. Lab’ayu’s story stands as a key moment in the political traditions of Canaan and its later biblical memory.
