Lol, this is the 10,000 thing that makes me stupid. Get a new scare tactic.

Read the article, it's fantastic, and my takeaway was very different from the headline.

Proof that it's already too late ☝️

I mean, obviously, you need higher cognitive functioning for all that

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world -1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Damn, I thought flight or fight was the most primitive function. Ah well, back to chewing on this tire.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, you know, just like my cat is scared of distant fireworks but doesn't give a flying fuck about climate change or rise of fascism in our own country.

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world -1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Oh so like when someone's afraid of falling off the edge of the earth?

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

More like how some people are afraid of needles but aren't afraid of deadly diseases. Their primitive understanding of reality allows them to draw connection between prick and pain, but not between an invisible to the naked eye organism and a gruesome death.

Oh, so like how people are afraid of clowns and then a clown murders your family. Got it.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I see you aren't grasping the concept, and now are saying some random words to hide this fact. But then again, it is to be expected, we kind of started with the idea that you lack higher cognitive functions

Wow youre so intelligent. Must be really scary that AI is going to take that all away from you.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

What's scary is that chatbots will make more people like you.

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

And then you can't avoid it and you'll be a thumping idiot in no time. Omg, you might not even be better than people anymore.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You. I couldn't avoid you. That's what I'm mildly afraid of.

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, I know what its like to have someone you dont really care for not leave you alone.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

As with a lot of things in your life, you think you know something, but actually you don't.
