Losing Rafale fighter jets must be a huge embarrassment for Modi. After the 2019 flare up, where an Indian mig-21 pilot was shot down, captured, paraded and then returned back to India. Modi made a public speech and he said "If we had Rafales this would not have happened!". Well, 2025 and 3 of his $250+ million Rafales got shot down by Pakistan's Chinese J-10CE.
