Asking for accelerationism and asking for higher-awareness of material conditions is different. For most treatlerites, the only thing that's ever going to give them a higher-awareness is the cut-off of third-world exploitation that all their treats come from.
Wanting the end of the exploitation of the periphery doesn't mean accelerationism.
I'm so surrounded by treatlerites that I've come to sound like an accelerationist. They're all labor aristocrats and petty-bourgeois wannabes, so they're not representative of the average person, but they're so full of themselves and callous towards people having it worse than them, either at home or abroad in imperialized countries, that I just can't fathom any other way for them to open up to left-wing ideas without their imperial treats being cut off first (although I'm sure the vast majority of them will end up going mask-off, as usual, and publicly embracing islamophobic/xenophobic/queerphobic discourse)
Beyond just that, it's just objectively a good thing exploitation would stop. Saying that "I don't think third world countries should be strip-mined for resources" doesn't mean accelerationism, it's damage control and prevention. Advocating for those things to be dismantled does mean a significant chunk of "treats" getting stripped away, which I'm not gonna complain about for the reasons you mentioned.
Labor aristocracy is helluva drug.
