I can safely say that standing at the jetty on Russell Island at 4 am is damn cccccccoooolllddddd. I imagine a fair few of you won't even be rising for another couple of hours. I wanna be in your nice snug warm bed right now.
Hmmmm I could re-word that.......Well anyway by the time you get up, it will still be cold by the looks of things due to the wind chill factor. The coldest wind chill factor I have ever worked in was minus 15. And yes that is very very cold. So I suppose I shouldn't complain.
Damn it's cold.
Got up this morning and as soon as that first crisp morning air rolled in the window I was like... damn, this is definitely a day that delosmercedes will be committing to the beanie.
Cant blame you with the way that wind was/is carrying on. Had to pee from about a foot to the right of the dunny to account for wind speed this morning.
Up at 3am for me, and yes, it has gradually gotten colder over the last couple hours. Not as cold as being on a jetty as I can imagine, but still chilly.
Why are you up so early ?
I've found a spot out of the breeze. I have also found a strip of sun rising between storage tanks. Still bloody cold. Beanie "and" hoodie right now.
I start work at 5am. Takes me about an hour to wake up and get ready, and then about 30 to 40 minutes to get to work.
And yes, I had the beanie on this morning.
