I want to know if it's possible to have my feeds be completely separate if I have multiple accounts. I have two accounts I like to keep them completely separate from each other. It looked at first like that was happening on summit but then I realized that the accounts were being blended together and the results I would see on my feed was the combination of the two accounts. Is there a setting somewhere or something on the roadmap that will allow us to have these completely separated?

That is not intentional. How do you know that the feed is a blend of both accounts?

Thanks for checking in!

I can tell because I am subscribed to different communities in each account, but when I filter to subscribed in one account I can see both sets of communities.

Also, I can see my view history from both accounts from either account. Doesn't feel like that is the correct way for multi account handling should work.

Edit: I think the recently viewed communities also seems to blend across accounts.

Edit: just checked again and bookmarks seem to blend across both accounts. Not sure if that is intentional though.

Can you explain what you mean by "filtering to subscribed"? Do you mean the subscribed feed? Just to checked i signed into two accounts on the same instance. Then i subscribed to a community on one account, switched to the other and then verified i did not see that community when i browsed the subscribed feed.

As for history, recently viewed community and bookmarks, these carry over between accounts. I can add something to the roadmap to allow you to make these separate based on your account.

I can send you a screen cap.

Here is an example. I switch accounts, but when I go to the top filters the subscription list doesn't change. https://streamable.com/iqt0s4

Oh i think there is a misunderstanding. The community list shown in the community picker sheet in the video is not a lost of subscribed communities. They are just top communities. I should rename the title of the list so it reduces confusion.

I see! Okay that clears some things up. I thought it was just two different ways to get to the same thing.

Well I suppose as a feature request I'd like to request the option to separate things like bookmarks and history. However the feed itself actually being separate is most the function I'm looking for.
