Authoritarianism is the antithesis of leftism. Hexbear sure loves authoritarians despite being "serious leftists".
Show me one example of this fabled love for authoritarianism I'm always hearing about.
Take a gander through MeanwhileOnGrad. All sorts of authoritarian bootlicking documented right there for anyone to see.
Cherry-picked posts from an instance that isn't even the one I'm talking about is supposed to be evidence of a general attitude?
Sorry you can't be bothered to look at the evidence that's clearly available right in front of you from a community meant to document this sort of behaviour. Where that evidence is is irrelevant, the behaviour itself is on full display for you to see.
It's not in front of me, it's about a different instance than I was talking about, and I am on hexbear every day, I don't need an outsider's fake summary.
Capitalism is the antithesis of leftism. Oppressing the bigots and capitalists is the essence of leftism.
Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Authoritarianism is not acceptable regardless of what your ideology is, and goes against everything actual leftists stand for. People like you are no better than the capitalists and fascists you claim to be against.
Funny you would say that, because by calling for the left to neuter its ability to liberate the working class, you're no better than the capitalists and fascists you don't even claim to be against.
The actual leftists will not sit down and let the bourgeoisie continue to oppress people just because it's "authoritarian" to stop them. I really wonder what you think the left is. If you want a hint, it's not Hillary Clinton.
